West Ham United have stepped up their fight for Premier League survival with a double striker move.
They have signed Gil Vicente forward Pablo Felipe and agreed a deal for Lazio’s Taty Castellanos.
The two transfers could cost up to £47m combined.
Both moves were pushed by manager Nuno Espírito Santo.
Pablo joins for £18.3m plus add-ons after scoring nine league goals this season.
The 21-year-old said he is determined to prove himself in England.
West Ham also reached agreement with Lazio on a £26.1m deal for Castellanos.
The Argentine striker has scored twice in 12 games this season.
The club abandoned interest in Jørgen Strand Larsen due to his £40m valuation.
They remain short of forwards after Niclas Füllkrug joined AC Milan on loan.
West Ham sit 18th in the table and may still add a defender.
Several players, including Luis Guilherme, could depart before the window closes.
