The Premier League has approved schedule changes for Arsenal and Crystal Palace ahead of their Carabao Cup quarter-final on Tuesday, 23 December.
Originally set to play their league matches at 2pm on Sunday, 21 December, both clubs will now play a day earlier at 8pm on Saturday — Arsenal away to Everton and Palace away to Leeds United.
The decision, made for player welfare reasons, follows concerns over fixture congestion, with Palace also playing KuPS in the Europa Conference League on Thursday, 18 December.
The Premier League said it acted to ensure adequate recovery time and thanked Leeds and Everton for their cooperation. Both rescheduled matches will still be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
