Fire engines raced to a Red Fort metro station gate after authorities reported the explosion. Firefighters extinguished flames while police cordoned off the site and evacuated the injured. Sanjay Tyagi, a police spokesman, confirmed the casualties and said authorities are investigating the cause.

Local residents described hearing a “window-shattering sound” before seeing multiple cars engulfed in flames. Media footage captured damaged vehicles and a heavy police presence around the historic Red Fort, a major tourist landmark.
